Profile

Wole Adegbule is an award winning Environmental Advocate and SDGs promulgator who has physically engaged over 10,000 youths on environmentalism, education and leadership across African countries. He is the National Director of International Student Environmental Coalition (ISEC) for Nigeria, an organization he brought to the continent spreading to 10 other African countries through his exemplary leadership and elusive activities. He is an ambassador and Head of Distribution Unit of AQUSAFE Water Filter, an alumnus of Laudato ‘Si Challenge based in California, USA. Wole was rated among 30 most outstanding Nigerian youths by Cowbell Milk in 2016 same year he served as President of the Postgraduate Environmental Body of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

In 2018 Wole Adegbule was chosen as one of 13 African youths below age 35 selected to the writing of Global Environment Outlook 6 (GEO 6) for Africa Youth Chapter 2 which is a historical publication being the first time in almost 2 decades that UN Environment has produced a publication written by young Africans. Wole was a delegate at 2018 Green Economy Research Dissemination and Impact Workshop on Governing Inclusive Green Economy in Nigeria for Governing Inclusive Green Growth in Africa (GIGGA) summary report by the University of Reading UK and In 2019, Wole became a Research Associate of Green Growth Team, University of Reading UK on Green Economy Capacity Assessment Workshop for workers of NILEST, FIIRO, NBTI, ECN and NABDA in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, Nigeria.

Wole Adegbule is a fellow of Netherlands Education Group, Stichting Libertas International, Netherlands, he has a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and currently on a PhD level.
