Kate N. Okeke is a legal practitioner, researcher, and environmental governance professional with over 15 years of experience in legal practice, corporate governance, policy research, and higher education. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International and Comparative Law with a specialization in Environmental Law from the University of Nigeria.
Kate’s research focuses on environmental governance, corporate environmental responsibility, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) regulation, sustainable development, and comparative environmental law. She is passionate about advancing legal and policy solutions that promote environmental sustainability, corporate accountability, and effective governance in developing economies.
Beyond her legal practice, Kate has contributed to legislative and policy research, taught at the tertiary level, and actively participates in initiatives that promote environmental protection, climate action, and sustainable development. As an Associate of the Society for Planet and Prosperity, she looks forward to collaborating with researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to develop innovative solutions that support a more sustainable and prosperous future.
