Gboyega is the Principal Consultant / CEO at Enviromax Global Resources Limited where he leads a team of environmental consultants providing service through Training, Research and Development and also the Project Coordinator, Solution17 Climate Actions Enterprise Project by Creative Youth Community Development Initiative (CYCDI) where he is coordinating 17 youth led Climate Action Enterprises with focus on delivering on the Sustainable Development Goals

Gboyega has comprehensive banking experience spanning +9 years working in core area of Retail Sales, SMEs and Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Business Development, Credit Analysis, Mortgage, Asset & Investment Banking, Bulk acquisition and Portfolio Management before venturing into environmental consulting.

His focus on Environmental Consultancy revolves around Circular Economy, Sustainability, Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Resource Efficiency, Energy Transition, Natural Capital, ESG, Climate Change Adaptation, Solid Waste Management, Safety and Environmental & Social Risk Governance.

Gboyega combines knowledge, capacity and passion for policy and social entrepreneurship and business development with certificate in Design Thinking by HP LIFE. He delivered the keynote address at the UN Sustainable Development Solution Network (SDSN) Nigeria’s 2019 Annual Youth SDGs Symposium, he has contributed and facilitated multiple sessions with local and international organizations and NGOs, National and State governments on critical environmental, social innovation, climate change and Sustainable Development goals. #SDGs

He served as Mentor during the #AfricaVsVirusChallenge supported by African Development Bank (AfDB); #HackingCovid19 Hackathon supported by HEC Paris, Huawei and Agorize; and #ClimateInnovationLabs in Africa and Asia Pacific by UN Climate Technology Center and Network (CTCN), UNEP, UNFCCC, UNIDO, and Seedstars where he provided knowledge and skills to social innovator and young Africans and Asia Pacific entrepreneurs to co-create sustainable businesses and social impacts.

Gboyega trained at United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) on Integrating Climate Risk Information into National Adaptation Plans (NAPS). At the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC), he has completed courses on “Paris Agreement on Climate Change as a Development Agenda”; attended the “United Nations Summer Academy 2020” as North Rhine-Westphalia State scholar; completed course on “Circular Economy and the Agenda 2030 and Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development. He has received various trainings from British Council, World Bank Group, UNEP, World Health Organisation (WHO), AI Business School and Corporate Finance Institute (CFI).

Gboyega is a verified Mentor at the Mentor – X Africa, a distinguished Member of the Society for Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Mitigation (SETPOM) and an EcoDistricts Accredited Professional where built environment is considered based on equity, resilience and climate action. He is a trained Climate Reality Leader, and his opinions on salient environmental and development issues have been published in The Guardian, Tribune, Vanguard, The Cable, The Nation newspaper including other online sources.

Gboyega is an Onfrontiers Expert and Country Representative, African Circular Economy Network (ACEN) Nigeria Chapter. Gboyega renowned for his works at the intersection of policy framework and as members of state and National working groups on development projects. He received his B.Sc. in Zoology and M.Sc. in Zoology (with bias for Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Management) from the prestigious University of Lagos.
